Eugene is a mental performance consultant with extensive experience working with NCAA Division I athletes and military personnel. Eugene has dedicated his career to working with high-performance individuals, from NCAA Division I athletes to Special Forces candidates and the US Army.
Eugene takes a practical and individualized approach to optimizing mental performance. He emphasizes trust, collaboration, and evidence-based strategies to help athletes and teams perform at their best under pressure. Eugene is a mental performance consultant with extensive experience working with NCAA Division I athletes and military personnel. His passion lies in helping athletes and teams develop the psychological tools necessary for success. At Kansas State University, he worked closely with Women’s Basketball and individual athletes from other teams with a primary focus on integrating mental skills training into practice and competition. Additionally, as a Master Resilience Trainer with Magellan Federal, he provided cognitive and resilience training to Special Forces candidates and military leaders, enhancing their decision-making and mental toughness in high-pressure environments. Eugene also served as the assistant coach for 1st Infantry Division’s Best Ranger Competition team providing mental skills training for the competitors. Currently, Eugene is serving as a Mental Performance Coach through Premier Sport Psychology for Gotham FC of the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL).
Originally Eugene is from Damariscotta, Maine but has spent time in Ohio and Kansas before settling in New Jersey. Outside of his work in sport and performance psychology, Eugene enjoys being active and outdoors playing competitive Ultimate Frisbee, soccer, and going for trail runs.
Eugene enjoys presenting on leadership, confidence, communication, resilience, and building mentally strong athletic programs.
