  • High school, collegiate, and professional athletes navigating pressure, expectations, and transitions

Areas of Special Interest & Expertise

RETURN FROM INJURY & PERFORMANCE RECOVERY

Dr. Austin works with athletes navigating injury and return to sport, where physical recovery and mental readiness must align. He helps athletes rebuild confidence, manage setbacks, and re-establish consistency as they transition back into competition.

PERFORMANCE & BEHAVIORAL PATTERNS

Performance challenges are often tied to deeper behavioral patterns. Dr. Austin works with athletes and high performers to understand how habits, coping mechanisms, and decision-making impact consistency, performance, and long-term outcomes.

ATTENTIONAL FOCUS & RELAXATION TRAINING

Performance often breaks down not because of skill — but because of attention. Dr. Austin trains athletes to manage internal and external distractions, regulate arousal, and maintain focus in high-pressure moments.

PERFORMANCE, STRESS & SUSTAINABILITY

High performance requires more than short-term intensity. Dr. Austin helps individuals manage stress, avoid burnout, and build systems that support sustained performance across demanding environments.
