Eiron Sanchez, MSW, is a mental health and mental performance provider who specializes in mental skills training, clinical counseling, and personal development.  He works at various levels with athletes and teams to enhance mental performance skills for exceling in competition and beyond.  Eiron’s areas of focus include pre-performance routines, mindfulness techniques, and acceptance. Whenever applicable, Eiron enjoys implementing aspects of Stoic Philosophy into practice.

Eiron joins Premier Sport Psychology after gaining clinical experiences with diverse populations in a variety of settings. Eiron completed his undergraduate studies in Psychology at Florida Gulf Coast University serving in multiple leadership positions in organizations across campus. He earned his master’s degree in Social Work from Florida State University where he completed field placements with youth and athletic populations. Upon graduating, Eiron furthered his clinical expertise by working with clients of varying backgrounds and ages implementing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Strengths-Based practices.  Eiron began his performance-based work at IMG Academy. He worked with student athletes within the golf program to develop sustainable routines and self-awareness.  Most recently he served as a Specialist within the student-athlete development department at Jacksonville State University.
While at JSU, Eiron worked to develop guidelines and policies in compliance with the NCAA to best serve student-athletes with their mental health concerns, including pre-season mental health screenings. Additionally, he collaborated with coaches and support staff to develop targeted team building and performance enhancing frameworks to be implemented across JSU’s sports teams which included post-season and conference championship preparations.

As an athlete, Eiron has competed competitively as a Greco-Roman wrestler as well as being a three-year letter winner in baseball. More recently his athletic pursuits include bouldering, surfing, and distance running, completing his first 5k race in 2022. He also has recently discovered recreational pickleball.  His other pursuits include delving into books, learning the guitar, and spending time outdoors, especially at the beach, with his fiancé and their dog.
