Dr. Holm Haider believes mental performance grows from understanding the whole athlete and being deliberate with training the mind to focus on the right things, at the right time. She works collaboratively with clients to identify barriers, develop individualized strategies, and create practical tools that translate directly into competition.
Her work focuses on helping athletes build confidence they can rely on regardless of circumstances while maintaining balance and long-term enjoyment of sport.

A five-sport letter-winner in high school, Dr. Holm Haider went on to win national and world rowing titles at the University of Michigan, where she was named Big-10 Athlete of the Year (Rowing) and earned Academic All Big-10 honors. She then coached Women’s Crew at the Division I level for four years at the University of Minnesota.
Dr. Holm Haider serves as a mental health provider for the Minnesota Lynx, and provides leadership development and executive coaching for the Minnesota Twins. At the collegiate level, Dr. Holm Haider’s work includes leadership and resilience curriculum for Leadership U and the University of Minnesota, where she delivers mental health and mental performance programming, along with individual sessions, team sessions, and coaching consultations.
With a decade of experience as a certified yoga instructor, she blends expertise in sport and performance psychology with mindfulness, somatic awareness, and mind-body connection to enhance wellness and performance.
Additionally, Dr. Holm Haider is the biotech manager at Premier, where she supports the integration of biofeedback technologies into client work and contracts to deliver measurable performance data that optimizes mental fitness and deepens psychosomatic connection.
Chrissy comes by her expertise in Leadership and Mental Performance honestly. A five-sport letter-winner in high school, Chrissy began a career in rowing while an undergraduate at the University of Michigan, where she won national and world titles on her way to Big-10 Athlete of the Year (Rowing), Academic All Big-10 honors, and a Leadership Distinction award from the renowned Jeff Janssen Leadership Academy. She went on to earn a master’s degree in Sport and Exercise Psychology from Brunel University in London, competing on the university’s netball team, before repatriating to coach Women’s Crew for the University of Minnesota. She has since earned her Ed.D in Sport and Performance Psychology with a masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Western States.
Chrissy’s work at Premier includes developing and facilitating leadership curriculum for clients and university programs, and bringing mindfulness practices and mental skills training to amateur, professional, and Olympic-level athletes. Chrissy also consults for a variety of business organizations and executives to improve leadership and work performance.
When not working at Premier, Chrissy can be found in the yoga studio, where she is a LifePower certified instructor specializing in Flow Free, HIIT yoga, Warrior Sculpt, and yoga/mindfulness fusion.
Dr. Holm Haider provides presentations for athletes, parents, coaches, and organizations on topics including resilience, confidence, mental performance, managing pressure, and creating healthy cultures that drive performance.
