Born and raised in Blaine, Minnesota, Jason Kaul serves as an Intake Specialist at Premier Sport Psychology and is also the Leadership U Intern within the University of Minnesota athletics department.

A three-sport captain in high school (football, basketball, and baseball), Jason continued his athletic career at Stanford University, where he competed as a Division I student-athlete on the football team. He received the Chris Draft Commitment to Community Outreach Award in 2022, as well as earned Pac-12 All-Academic honors three years in a row. Off the field, Jason was involved in Cardinal RHED, a branch of SAAC that fosters resilience, health & emotional development among the Stanford student-athlete community. He also was selected to be in the first cohort of the Wu Tsai Human Performance Alliance Undergraduate Research Program, where he conducted research on the role of mindsets in health, well-being, and burnout among elite college athletes. Jason graduated with honors in 2023 with a degree in psychology and a minor in communication.

Now a master’s student at the University of Minnesota, Jason balances coursework, research, teaching, and leadership development for Gopher student-athletes. In his free time, Jason enjoys staying active with resistance training, playing basketball, going on hikes with his wife, and diving into a new book or podcast.
