Let’s start with a fun fact about yourself.
I can pop my jaw in and out of place… I don’t know if that’s a fun fact but it’s a fact!
If you could travel to anywhere in the world, where would you go?
If I could travel anywhere in the world it would definitely be Cuba. I love their culture and would love to travel somewhere no one in my family has been.
You are being sent to a deserted island you can bring one person and one item, who and what would you bring, and why?
I would bring my best friend Marcela because she and I would have the most fun together and eventually find a way to get off the island. I would bring my Swiss Army Knife that I got when I turned 13. It has sentimental value and it’s something to use on the island.
If you could have one superhero power, what would it be?
Super power would be of course to be able to read people’s minds.
Favorite sport to play? Favorite sport to watch?
My favorite sport to play is volleyball. My favorite sport to watch is hockey.
When you were in Kindergarten, what did you want to be when you grew up?
When I was in Kindergarten I wanted to be either a teacher or a baker.
What is one thing that scares you?
One thing that scares me is not making my family proud of me and what I do.
What has drawn you to the sport psychology world?
I was drawn to sport psychology when I was a senior in undergrad. I wanted to be in a field of sport psychology where I could work with a wide variety of people to help them through a problem or to help them be the best athlete they can be.
What is your educational and sport background?
I have a BA in Psychology and I am just finishing my MA in Sport Psychology.
What do you love most about your job at Premier?
I love that I get to interact with everyone, from the providers to the clients. It makes me happy when I can see everyone, ask how they are doing, and maybe make their day a little bit better!
