Position Summary:
The Operations Generalist will be responsible for a wide range of internal operations tasks directed by the HR Manager and Director of Operations. This individual will be given the opportunity to contribute to and support in areas of the firm including human resources, IT, finance, marketing, research and development, and business development. This position is designed for an individual who is interested in collaborating as a member of an action-oriented, and passionate sport and performance psychology consulting firm. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, an agile learner, provides high-quality work, adaptable, and collaborative. This individual will report directly to the Human Resources Manager.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop an understanding of the business, policies, procedures, practices and culture
  • Serve as point of contact for day-to-day employee support such as benefit inquiries, employment verifications, and general employee customer support
  • Assist the Human Resources Manager and Director of Operations in developing, planning, and coordinating operational activities which include but are not limited to human resources, IT, finance, marketing, research and development, and business development
  • Administer benefits
  • Assist with recruiting, hiring, onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Develop and update company-wide policies and procedures
  • Recommend new procedures for increasing the efficiency of day-to-day operations
  • Support change management initiatives
  • Partner with management and leadership to assess performance management including coaching, career development, reviews, performance remediation plans, and corrective action administration
  • Run special projects to improve business operations such as inquiring about RFP for a new vendor
  • Spearhead project management for assigned projects
  • Coordinate and schedule employee engagement initiatives
  • Serve as point person for day-to-day IT challenges
  • Compile and send monthly utilization reports to employees
  • Run monthly reports such as EMR documentation audits
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law
  • Support the intake specialist team
  • Serve as back-up front desk coverage, as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Unconventional hours will be required


Required Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven organizational skills
  • Strong verbal, written, and listening communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Self-sufficiency and an ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to prioritize work, manage time effectively, and follow through on commitments
